The device attached to the module and forced it into a too steep reentry path. The module with Commander Steve Maddox aboard was destroyed. Handerson ordered code "Whashington Square", which forbit any moonbase spaceflights. Paul Foster took another Moonmodule on the same flightpath of Steve Maddox to prove that it wasn't a pilots error. His module was also attacked but he was able to land the ship savely.
