WELCOME TO MY MUSIC
In 1980 I was 16 years old when I bought my first movie score. It was John Barry's The Black Hole which was soon followed by the double LP from The Empire Strikes Back then ALIEN and Star Trek. I don't know how many CDs I've now in my collection. But, there are a lot :) .
How?
Sadly, I never learned any kind of instrument or notation reading, and it took a lot of time for me to raise the wish to compose my own music. I had some ideas but no chance to write it down. Then I found a program that made it possible for me not only to write my music down, but also listen to it like it was played by an orchestra. The program is called MAGIX Music Maker with the addition of Garritan Personal Orcheastra 4. And now, whenever I have the chance I'm composing my own music.
What?
I do Paper & Pen Role Playing Games with some friends as a player. The stories are often influenced by horror or mystery. However at one day I had the idea to compose music for the games as if they were movies. So I began to write for a mystery/superhero game set in the ice of Thule and a horror/vampire game set in 19th century Vienna.
